DSH Desktop Enterprise: admin setup and employee access
Separate administrator configuration from the employee sign-in and usage workflow.
Two roles, two workflows
Administrators configure seats, model permissions and quotas. Employees sign in to the enterprise and use assigned models. Enterprise includes a server and desktop client; prepare the server using the deployment guide before configuring people and models.
1. Assign seats and sign in
In authorization and seat management, check each user’s department, seat and permissions. Employees open account settings in the desktop app, enter the enterprise address and complete sign-in and authorization in the browser. Back in the client, check enterprise models and available quota. If models are missing, check seats, permissions and administrator setup before assuming personal configuration is required.
2. Configure models and quotas centrally
The administrator configures models and monthly department quotas, with individual adjustments where needed. After saving, ask the affected user to check the assigned models and allowance. The employee chooses a workspace and authorized enterprise model and sends a small test task. Successful configuration and correct task output are separate checks.
3. Review usage at the right scope
In usage statistics, select enterprise, department or user, then year, month or day to view tokens and messages. Compare like-for-like time ranges. Entry settings can provide a desktop launch URL and employee download URL. Usage is not a direct measure of output quality or the provider’s billed amount.
Before team use
Check employee sign-in, authorized model visibility, quotas and reporting scope. Refer to the current enterprise page for licensing and seat conditions. For an enterprise plugin market, check the features and controls of the deployed version.
