Start with the business and its constraints

The example explores tea shop locations in Chaoyang District. Prepare the city or area, business category, reference brands, budget, floor area, rent and target customers. The output is a candidate list with reasons, property records, field notes and decision states. Example locations are not current rental offers. Install the relevant workbench and connect a model before starting.

1. Create a project and save candidates

Create a recognizable project such as “Chaoyang tea shop,” choose available city data, the tea business category and reference brands. Check the automatically prepared task before sending. Ask for the results to be saved so locations appear in the list and map. The demonstration selected ten; use a number suited to your needs.

Find candidate locations using this project’s conditions and save them to the candidate list. Explain foot traffic, access, location quality and nearby competition. Cite uncertain data and flag checks rather than presenting assumptions as facts.

2. Read the reasons, not just the score

Open each candidate and inspect the target audience and nearby competing shops. Scores support ranking but do not replace judgment. In this example, competition informs recommendations without directly contributing to the total score, so a highly ranked location may still carry competition risk.

3. Add property and field records

Use the property layer to find nearby premises and save promising ones to My locations. Record rent, transfer fees, ceiling height, ventilation, permits, utilities, photos and other evidence. After visiting, add peak and off-peak foot traffic, audience, notes and visit status. Use the question entry that includes the current location to keep its context.

Use this location and my field notes to list unresolved questions, especially planned transit, competing stores and rent conditions. Include sources I can recheck.

4. Record the decision and its reasons

Move candidates through discussion and decision states, then record signing or rejection with reasons. Verify map and property sources, freshness and actual lease conditions in person. The workbench organizes evidence; a score does not replace field research.

Find the workbench

This article describes a demonstrated workflow. Check the current workbench market entry for availability, installation and dependencies. If no matching entry is listed, use the workflow as a reference for your own tool; a video does not guarantee current availability.
