Before you start

Choose a concrete task and two or three essential features. This example is a daily review tool for recording and viewing your work.

1. Open Build my workbench

Click Workbenches in the sidebar, then Build my workbench at the upper right of the market page.

1. Open Build my workbench — DSH Desktop interface
1. Open Build my workbench · Open full-size image

2. Copy the development instructions

Click Copy development instructions, start a new session and paste them into the input box. Add who the tool is for, what it should do and what it must save. Answer follow-up questions before implementation. Read the development documentation and quickstart for API, packaging and installation details.

Build a personal daily review workbench. Record completed work, problems and tomorrow’s plan. Let me view past entries and ask AI for a summary. Confirm the workflow and saved fields before building.

3. Install and test one record

After confirming requirements, follow the delivered installation and opening instructions. Save work before a required restart. Create, edit and save one practice entry, close and reopen the workbench and check that it remains. Give AI the exact steps and error if something fails. Local personal use does not require a market submission.

4. Submit only if you want to share

Follow the submission instructions to prepare a repository, description and screenshots, then use the provided submission prompt. Paste the resulting pull request URL into the progress field. A PR requests inclusion; other users can find the workbench after approval and a market catalog update.

Practice: a saved daily review

Completed: organize customer feedback. Problem: two feedback items lack sources. Tomorrow: add sources and prepare meeting materials. Confirm all three fields survive editing, saving and reopening.
